2019 Way Too Early HDL Rookie Mock Draft

- 1.01 (Abaum) Josh Jacobs RB Alabama- Mike’s running backs are disgustingly bad. Jacobs should be a 1st round pick and is a solid all around RB that should serve as a starter in his rookie year.
- 1.02 (Billy) Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma- Billy is already on record for saying Metcalf is a bust. We’ll see if he’s all talk come draft day but I’ll assume for now hes telling the truth. My guess is Billy will opt for Marquise Brown as he’ll see resemblences of Tyreek Hill in his game.
- 1.03 (Sarlo) D.K Metcalf WR Ole Miss- Sarlo loves WRs and loves big WRs. Metcalf should be a lock first round pick and has the upside of a true number 1. His athletic ability is absurd.
- 1.04 (Marino) Hakeem Butler WR Iowa St- After some trades last year Marino desperately needs help at WR. I think Butler will be a 1st round pick and instant upgrade for Dan.
- 1.05 (Ian) N’keal Harry WR Arizona St- This draft will be WR heavy and that trend continues here with Ian selecting another big WR with a lot of upside.
- 1.06 (Calhoun) AJ Brown WR Ole Miss- Another big body WR although primarily plays in the slot. Calhoun needs help everywhere and this is BPA.
- 1.07 (Mike) Miles Sanders RB Penn St- Miles Sanders might look like a reach here but I think hes the 2nd RB taken this draft (maybe even the 1st) and will go higher than most expect. Mike would probably like a WR here but after the run that they went on hes gotta settle for another RB.
- 1.08 (Marino) David Montgomery RB Iowa St- Marino addresses WR with the 1st pick and now grabs the best RB available who adds great value in the passing game as well.
- 1.09 (Marino) T.J Hockenson TE Iowa- Trey Burton was pretty good last year but Hockenson could go in the top 10 in the NFL Draft and is too good of value to pass up at this point.
- 1.10 (Troy) Devin Singletary RB FAU- I desperately need depth at RB. It gets real ugly after CMC and LF. Singletary will likely be a 2nd–3rd rd pick and hopefully can become a starting RB at some point.
- 1.11 (Billy) Parris Campbell WR Ohio St- Rumblings he could sneak into the late 1st round and Parris will likely be utilized in many roles for an offense. Could be a steal at this point.
- 1.12 (TRADE! Marino sends pick to Hallahan) Noah Fant TE Iowa- Lets have a little fun with the last pick. Hallahan and Scott want to upgrade the TE position and Fant is a lock 1st round pick. Some argue he is probably even a better pass catcher than Hockenson. Marino already got his guys so he wont mind moving the last pick in the 1st round to Hallahan. Marino sends 1.12 Hallahan sends a 2020 2nd 3.04 and Tremaine Edmunds.
